We are extremely pleased to introduce our latest advert. As this will be the final advert in our gaming series, we decided to go out with one final masterpiece. Before we discuss the direction we took with this latest ad, let's take some time to refresh our memory of the previous entries in the gaming series.
The idea of the gaming theme originated from our marketing department working to make a temporary departure from the classic style of valve advertising, where we would heavily feature the products. Although a prudent way to advertise, we wanted something that would be a little different, something that would stand out and something that would make people think twice. We originally tried this four years ago with the animal adverts. The results were outstanding, and then two years ago we decided to do the gaming theme.
Our latest ad was designed to make the valve look like it was built out of children's building blocks / bricks. The meticulous piece of artwork was created in house (just as all our ads are) with the help of our impressive engineering design department. Using Autodesk software we were able to build the valve, and then use a painstaking process of connecting the bricks, and then eventually using our advanced computing hardware to render the image down to make it look photo-realistic. The final results as you can see, are rather impressive.
We also modelled the valve on our recently released XC valve technology. Furthermore, just as the toy valve in the ad shows with the way it is built, the real XC valve is unique as it has interchangeable flanges and cartridges.
